ISC - Egypt competing in Lebanon for SABIS(R) Stars

In March this year, 30 Students from both ISC- Cairo and ISC - City of 6 October travelled to their sister school in Adma, Lebanon to compete in The SABIS(R) Stars International Competition. There they competed against 275 students drawn from 9 different SABIS(R) schools from 6 different countries.

“Director’s Reading Challenge”

The Director’s Reading Challenge is a project that was launched in The International School of Choueifat - Cairo during Term 2 and will continue on in Term 3, to promote reading among students. As part of the challenge, the school’s Director, has been spending 20 minutes each lunch-time reading to students in the Library. He has chosen to read classic children’s stories to them.

Our Visit to the Orphanage

When we arrived at the orphanage, I doubted I could make these little girls enjoy our visit, because the place wasn’t exactly cheerful.

Students for Somalia

As benevolent and magnanimous as ever, The International School of Choueifat- City of 6 October has just successfully accomplished its very noble project, "Students for Somalia"- 10 Hour Famine in Solidarity with the People of Somalia. During the last 10 days of November, the students went out to collect sponsors who would be willing to sponsor their hours of fasting.
