ISC – Cairo Celebrates 15 Years!!!

Saturday, May 08, 2010

On the 8th of May, The International School of Choueifat – Cairo celebrated 15 years in the eternal city of Cairo.

The celebrations started off with students from grades 2 to 10 presenting their gymnastics performance, where the theme for this year was fruit: each act being themed with a different fruit: 15 different fruits to celebrate our 15 years.

Next the parents and visitors were invited to the art gallery where they could buy their children’s work done throughout the year. All the money raised from the art gallery will be donated to a variety of local charities and projects that are supported by our SABIS Student Life Organization®.

For the first time, in our fifteen years, there was a Dabke performance. Students from Grades 5 to 12, together with some returning Alumni Students danced along to Fayrouz and old traditional Lebanese songs.

To wrap up the event, Lara Scandar, another alumni, performed her song latest song “Mission is you”. It was great to have our Alumni and Star Academy star to perform again on the stage where she started her career.
